Slate and TileSlate and Tile

The Harcon range of Slate and Tile roof vents is comprehensive; vents are available to match every known slate or tile, old or new, and 'specials' can be made at short notice.
The entire range was re designed in 2000 to reflect feed-back recieved from customers and specifiers over the last 10 years, and are now maunufactured in our modern factory in Coventry, under an ISO 9001:2000 quality system.
Cowl Roof Vent
Cowl Vent
There are two types of Harcon Slate and Tile roof vents: the Cowl and the Roofline. The Cowl roof vent offers an ultra low profile, probably the most unobtrusive on the market today. The Roofline range incorporates a patented ‘discreet cassette’. This ensures that although the roof vent is virtually flush with the roof, and almost invisible, rainwater is kept above the roofline at all times. (Most other designs incorporate a box below the vent to collect the water and duct it back out.) The Harcon roof ventilation range can be used at any pitch above 20º.
Roof vents are supplied in a wide range of standard colours and finishes, or can be colour and texture matched to any specific tile. Brett Martin Harcon will even match weathered finishes, to preserve the integrity and appearance of older buildings.
Cowl Vent With Felt Sleeve
Cowl Vent with felt sleeve
The Harcon roof ventilation range is supplied as standard with an integral, long reach felt sleeve to ensure that the roofing underlay cannot obstruct the air passsage into the roof void, as recommended by NFRC technical bulletin 20. Because it is an integral part of the vent no site assembly is required and there is no possiblity of omission. The round felt sleeve minimises risk of tearing the underlay which commonly occurs with rectangular sleeves.

Working from any tile sample the finish can be colour and texture matched exactly – new or weathered. The Harcon roof ventilation range uses a UV resistant, hard wearing, acrylic finish that is highly weather resistant ensuring colour stability for the life of the product.
